Karen Nakajima studied music at the University of British Columbia, Capilano University, Universität Wien, and Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Wien in Vienna, Austria. She has her Master of Arts in Music Theory but she is also an active pianist, trumpeter, and music educator. Karen has performed with the UBC Symphonic Wind Ensemble, and Posaunenchor Harburg in Germany.
Karen is an instructor at Capilano University where she currently serves as Music Diploma Program Coordinator.
