Spring Break Jazz

March Break Jazz Camp

Come to our March Break Jazz Improv
Introductory Camp

Thursday March 27, 1 – 3 pm

Friday March 28, 1 – 3 pm maybe be offered if interest.

 

Sign up for either afternoon to come and. learn about jazz improv, We will begin with looking at a brief overview of what Jazz improv is, then dive into a couple of tunes for the students to play together in a combo setting, learning about form and structure, and how to explore rhe roots of jazz improv.

All instrumentalists welcome reguardless of expereince, ages 12 and up

Fee – $50 including registration for each day.
PAYMENT DUE MARCH 25 by 4 pm

Welcome back to another year at Delta Community Music School! Classes begin once again the week of September 3, 2024, with most teachers returning and beginning lessons again this week.

Tuesday Jazz Class – starts Tuesday, September 24, 2024

Group Voice class for Fall 2024

Kid’s Group Voice Class (ages 8 – 11)

For FALL 2024

This fun and fast-paced creative group singing class will get kids singing and expressing themselves in all kinds of ways!  Students will build confidence through movement and storytelling as it relates to songs and scenes.  Growth and clarity of verbal skills and understanding of emotional connection through storytelling will also be explored. This is a small group class intended to provide individualized performance and musical attention to each child while also exploring singing and performing in a group.  Students must have some musical background and be able to hear and repeat pitches accurately.
