Friday Noon Concert – 12:15 pm with Bill Clark
The final performances of this year’s South Delta Jazz Festival are today and tomorrow. First is the Noon Hour Concert with Trumpet player Bill Clark in the Kinsroom at the School.
Faculty Concert – Friday 7:30pm All Saints Church (next to the school)
Tonight the entire faculty will be featured in a selection of tunes arranged for the faculty ensemble by Jared Burrows. Len Aruliah – saxes, Bill Clark – Trumpet, Brad Muirhead – trombone, Jared Burrows – guitar, Stephen Robb – clarinet/piano, Rob Kohler – bass and Steamin’ Stan Taylor on the drums.
Student Ensemble Concert at Delta Hospital – 12 noon – 3pm
Saturday afternoon at Delta Hospital all 6 student combos will be featured at this final afternoon performance. Students will present a sampling of the music they have been working on over the past week along with a performance from our Faculty Teaching Assistants. Under the tents outside at the Delta Hospital grounds. 12 noon
