Music Theory at DCMS

  • We are offering music theory classes tied to the new Royal Conservatory of Music Syllabus.
  • RCM Exam certificates can be used for high school credits and are considered an important element in entrance requirements for post-secondary study in music.
  • All RCM practical exams (voice, piano, violin, etc) have a theory co-requisite in order to receive your certificate level 5 and higher.
  • Private and group lessons are available.

We are currently off for Spring Break! Our school office opens again on Monday, March 20th at 1pm. There are no regularly scheduled classes at this time, but some instructors are providing extra lessons or make-up lessons to some students.   Hopefully, our spring flowers appear soon like in our photos!

We have had some website issues this week, including issues with our email server and web hosting. We have now moved everything to a new server so we are hoping that our sites will be more stable.
