Just a short note to all of our students and teachers that all lessons should be “back to normal” at the heritage house as of today.  Thanks to everyone for bearing with us last week and making your way around the community centre in search of your elusive music teachers and lessons.

Special thanks to Craig Hutchinson and all the crew at Delta Parks, Recreation and Culture for getting our home back in tip-top shape so quickly after the big Halloween Haunted House Event!

Starting Friday October 22.  Our school is going to be transformed into a Haunted House by the students at South Delta Secondary School Drama Department.  The Corporation of Delta is hosting the Annual Halloween Fright night at our school Thursday Oct. 28 from 4:30 – 7:30 pm

Most Lessons and Classes at our school will be moved off site to other locations around the Ladner Community Centre and the Kinhouse next to the Ladner Pioneer Library in Memorial Park beginning Friday Oct. 22 to allow the high school drama class to begin set up of the Haunted House.

Students will be receiving emails and/ or phone calls letting you know where your classes are going to be between Friday Oct. 22 and Saturday Oct. 30.  Normal operations at the school will resume Monday November 1st. The school office will remain open and operate normally through this period.

The McKee Heritage House is owned and maintained by the Corporation of Delta. It is part of our Lease agreement with Delta  that the Corporation of Delta has use of the house for the week of Halloween to create this annual Halloween event for the community.  Apologies to our students and families for disruptions over the next week.
